I'm sorry for your loss

Losing a beloved family member, sweetheart or friend is painful and I’m sorry that you’re going through this pain.

The shock and sadness of grief can be overwhelming, I’m here to help you remember some light in the darkness of loss.

I hope I can help make this difficult time a tiny bit less difficult.

Creating the funeral service

The first step is to meet together, usually in person, but we can do Zoom or phone calls if that’s easiest.

When we meet, my job is to listen. You might find it easy to talk about your lost one, or I may need to gently nudge your memory with questions. The meeting is a time to remember and to cry and perhaps laugh too, wherever the memories take you we can go there.

As well as finding out all about your person, we’ll also talk about music, poetry, readings, rituals and any other special things you want included in the service.

By the end of our meeting we’ll have created an outline of the funeral service that will represent your family member or friend as perfectly as possible.

After our meeting I create your service and share a draft with you so that you can be 100% confident in what is going to be said on the day.

I’ll work closely with the funeral directors and venue to make sure that the funeral service goes smoothly and you and your family and friends have time together to remember and celebrate the unique life of your beloved.
